Bridgens celebrated its centennial in 1971. From its founding in 1871 the company burgeoned along with the Toronto area and indeed the entire country, contributing in its own way to the history of the times. Brigdens was a printing firm founded by Frederick Brigden, who was talented, artistic and deaf. It is an intriguing story.
